CMRA Privacy Policy

CMRA does not require an account, show ads, or use tracking or analytics SDKs. We do not receive your photos or camera feed. We receive information only if you choose to send us feedback or contact us, as described below.

Photos and permissions

CMRA uses your camera to take photos and your photo library to save, display, and apply edits to them. Photo processing happens on your device. Your preferences are stored on your device too.

With your permission, CMRA adds your location to photos you take. Location access is optional. When you view photos with location information, CMRA uses Apple's services to look up place names, which can send those photos' coordinates to Apple. We do not receive those coordinates.

You can change camera, photo library, and location permissions in iOS Settings. Photos may sync through iCloud Photos according to your Apple settings. Apple's services are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Optional feedback

When you tap Send in the feedback form, CMRA sends your feedback type, title, message, app version, build number, iOS version, device model, and any email address you provide. An email address is required for questions so we can reply; it is optional for other feedback.

Feedback passes through Cloudflare and is stored in GitHub to help us answer questions, investigate problems, and improve CMRA. Photos and camera footage are not attached. We do not sell your feedback or use it for advertising.

Optional App Store purchases

CMRA may offer an optional supporter purchase through Apple's App Store. If you choose to buy it, Apple handles payment. We do not receive your payment card or bank details. The planned purchase feature uses Apple's StoreKit on your device to check and restore your purchase, without a developer-operated purchase server. Apple's handling of purchase information is explained in App Store & Privacy.

Your choices and deletion

You can use the camera without sending feedback or making a purchase. You can delete saved photos in Apple Photos. Deleting CMRA removes its local app data; photos saved to your library remain until you delete them separately.

To ask about privacy or request deletion of feedback you have submitted, contact us at [TK: privacy contact email]. Include enough information to identify your submission. You can stop future feedback collection by not submitting further feedback.
